Plantation shutters can be dispatched from our facility in approximately 14 -18 weeks if you order our Solid Wood, Engineered Wood or Hybrid Shutters and 4 -5 weeks (unless otherwise specified) for our other PVC shutters ranges. These lead times stated are from after you confirm your order. We call all customers who order shutters to check their order details to ensure the order is perfect when it arrives.

Accepted Answer

It is not possible to view our shutters in stores. We can however send you free of charge samples to ensure you order the right shade and can see the quality of our shutters. Question 5

Where are the plantation shutters made?

Accepted Answer

We manufacture our shutters in the Dublin, Ireland and China. We use top quality materials, invest directly in the best manufacturing machinery, and ensure that the staff are well looked after.

Question 6

Why don’t you make all your window shutters in the Ireland instead of China?

Accepted Answer

We want to give you options. Our costs are lower in China but the quality is the same as our Irish-made shutters. Our Irish-made products are of top quality and they are delivered sooner, but the higher manufacturing costs mean they are more expensive.

Question 7

What happens if my shutters are wrong, don’t fit or arrive damaged?

Accepted Answer

We do everything in our power to ensure that the shutters you receive will arrive in perfect condition and that you will have a hassle free installation. In the event of transit damage we will work with you on a replacement piece which can be either a full shutter replacement for that line item or a parts replacement. For example, for a damaged slat, we will remake and ship a brand new slat with installation instructions. If there is a quality issue from manufacturing, we are delighted to offer a “no quibble” free replacement. Remember that we provide comprehensive measuring guides and videos on our site and we call you to check the order detail is 100% correct before we begin. Unfortunately there is always the possibility that you (the customer) will read the measure tape incorrectly, and on this occasion you must take responsibility. Thankfully this is rare and as always we are happy to work with you to find a possible solution or assist with a remake order. View our measuring guides.

Question 8

What arrives with my order?

Accepted Answer

Everything you need will be supplied with your order. Shutters are supplied with a custom built frame and all the hardware. Check out our installation guides for shutters to see how the process works. You will need no more than a spirit level, drill and good quality steel tape measure in order to measure and install our shutters. Depending upon your wall or window type, you may be required to supply your own wall fixings to suit but we do supply all screws.

Question 9

What is the guarantee period?

Accepted Answer
